2010 Show Characterized by Tremendous Industry Support,
Specific Focus on Education and Quality Attendees
In the week since The Broadband Expo concluded its first free-standing event, it continues to receive positive reviews from participants, both attendees and exhibitors across the industry, positioning itself as a bellwether of the industry with a specific focus and niche.
“We extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the vendors, attendees, speakers, participants and supporters for a solid 2010 event,” said Jennifer Robinson, CEO of The Broadband Expo. “Thank you for the team effort that went into this year’s event. We look forward to working with you in the future.”
The inaugural event took place November 1-3, 2010 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. The location definitely added a very intimate, family feel for a start up show and allowed one-on-one networking through-out the entire conference. The first year was small, but the overall comments were extremely positive and provided a good foundation to build upon in years ahead.
The conference kicked off with a day full of insightful keynote addresses including Scott French, MSSI Vice President, Wireless Mobility Sales NA, Motorola Solutions; Charlie Ergen, President/CEO , Dish Network, Rich Tehrani, CEO and Group Editor-in-Chief, TCMNET.com and Jonathan Adelstein, Administrator, USDA Rural Utilities Services. Attendees were treated to an exhibit hall filled with products and services and more than 30 educational sessions were held to really offer a diverse offering of topics over the 3 days of learning, networking and gaining invaluable insights.
